Playfully, out of curiosity, all piglets drink and eat within 48 hours of birth!
They discover the water/food dish to take in water with Basdiar and dry food. It stimulates ROOTING reflexes through the characteristic investigative behavior of young piglets. Basdiar (10%) that is added to the water smells like earth due to a combination of brown algae, iron and minerals (montmorillonite-illite). In the higher dish section, you can add a (pre)-starter food/weaning food, which offers plant-based food at a very early stage, so that a healthy microbiome in the intestines is created and the digestive mechanism is activated.
In addition, Basdiar binds (endo-) toxins, causing the intestinal villi to develop faster, resulting in a more effective, healthier and better performance of the digestion process. It stimulates a higher feed intake in the farrowing pen and a higher weaning weight, resulting in uniform litter weights.
An additional advantage is that in addition to better intestinal health and early habituation to (pre)-starter feeds, the transition to the weaning period is gradual, with the additional advantage that the weaning dip is limited.

The Ardol DualSnack dish®, a feeddish that shows a distinctive effect. This exclusive model stimulates the natural rooting reflexes in piglets. As a result, the piglets absorb water, Basdiar and solid feed at an early stage.
The lower side of the dish makes it easier to promote this rooting behavior, so that all piglets learn to absorb minerals, vitamins and plant food with water in a playful way. Halfway up the dish, a specific root-resistance plate is applied for extra support.
